of grounding North Carolina Central (8-13) Saturday January 24th, instead were on the menu as the Lady Eagles celebrating Senior Night put away the Lady Tigers 52 to 40 in Black College Independent NCAA Division I Women's Basketball in Durham, NC. NCCU's Jori Nwachukwu and Blaire Houston led the Lady Eagles with 19 and 18 points and Savannah State's Milan Johnson tossed in 8 points for the Lady Tigers. Working the sideline and pumping  the audience on the behalf of the Lady Eagles were the NCCU JV Cheerleaders.
 
"Fight like a Girl" - Duke University Medical Center manned a booth on breast cancer stressing awareness of  a program for uninsured and under insured women and the importance of self examination for women below 40 years old and those with large tissue mass.
