NCA&T University Farm Hosts Bamboo Workshop May 24
Farmers, landowners and others interested in learning how to grow bamboo for profit were encouraged to attend a demonstration at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Farm.
The free workshop with a bamboo field  tour was held from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursday, May 24, at the farm, 3136 McConnell Road in Greensboro. The event was a collaboration between the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at N.C. A&T and commercial producer OnlyMoso USA. In addition to the tour, participants will get to meet with an OnlyMoso representative who will discuss land use, production practices and projected profitability. Growers who are already farming bamboo spoke. The demonstration included a free lunch sponsored by OnlyMoso.  Video Report  FP
