All
,Tuesday is Election Day—one that will have major
implications on every issue that North Carolinians care about:
education, health care, economic equality, community safety and
environmental health.
For over one hundred years, the NAACP has fought for the right of all
Americans to have equal access to the ballot box, and I am writing today
to encourage you to exercise that right with pride—and to help make sure
your neighbors do the same.
Through a unique partnership with the Voter Activation Network (VAN),
the NAACP has set up an online phone-banking system that allows you to
make phone calls to your fellow North Carolinians to encourage them to
do get out and vote next Tuesday.

The process is easy. Just click the link and fill out the registration
information. You will receive a password to log in to the system.
Once you log in you will see your first phone number along with a
script. After you’ve made your call, fill out the brief form to let us
know how it went—and that’s it! You can now participate in a statewide
NAACP phone bank from the comfort of your living room.
Please, give it a try with 5 phone calls this weekend:

Our vote is a sacred right, and it’s also the key to making sure the
issues we care about are addressed by our local and state decision
makers. Thanks for your help making sure that voter turnout makes
history this Tuesday in North Carolina.
Sincerely,
Marvin Randolph
